She's an American cooking show host and TV personality. Paula is known to be the owner of the famous Georgia restaurant known as "Paula Deen's Creek House" alongside her children. Her cookbooks are also one to reckon with as she has written more than fifteen cookbooks.
She has hosted several television cooking series namely; "Paula's Home Cooking" (2002-2013), "Paula's Party" (2006-2013), "Paula's Next Dishes" (2008-2013) and several more.
Family Life
She was born to father, Earl Wayne Hiers, Sr. and mother, Corrie A. Hiers. She got married to Jimmy Dean in an early marriage in 1965, and they were both married for about twenty-four years before they finally divorced in 1989.
In 2004, she got married to a tugboat captain, Michael Groover. Her children include; Jamie and Bobby Deen.
Her grandmother who taught her some hand-me-down art of Southern cooking is known as Irene Paul.

She won the "Outstanding Lifestyle Host" at the 2007 Daytime Emmy Awards.
