About Pee Wee
Pee Wee is the professional name of singer, songwriter, dancer and actor Irvin Salinas. His initial claim to fame can be said to be his membership of the music group, Kumbia Kings from 2003 until 2006. He later became the lead vocalist of Kumbia All Stars in 2006. He started pursuing a solo career after leaving the band in 2008.
His debut solo project was the 2009 album titled “Yo Soy”. He is also known for singles such as “Cumbaya”, “Quedate” and “Live Your Life”.
Family Life
He and his two siblings, Simon and Elizabeth, were born to a woman named Maria Martinez.
Achievements
As a former member of Kumbia Kings, he won a Latin Grammy Award.
Collaborations and Other Projects
From 2009 to 2010, he appeared in the Mexican telenovela, “Camaleones”, as Ulises Moran.
He has worked with the likes of El Cata, Juan Magan and Kelly Key on some of his singles.
