Peter Frampton is an English rock guitarist and singer-songwriter who first gained attention with the bands The Herd and Humble Pie. He later established a successful solo career and released famous songs such as Show Me the Way and Do You Feel Like We Do.
Family Life
From 1972 to 1976, he was married to Mary Lovett. In 1983, he married Barabara Gold. The marriage produced two children before ending in divorce in 1993. His third marriage to Tina Elfers in 1996 produced his third child, actress Mia Frampton. That marriage also ended in divorce.
Trivia
In 1978, he almost died in a violent car accident while in the Bahamas. He was hospitalized after sustaining very severe injuries.
He became a citizen of the United States after the September 11 attacks in 2001 and went on to state that the terrorist attacks motivated him to get his U.S. citizenship.
