When he was born, the name he was given was Peter Høeg Gade. He expressed interest in sports at a young age and started playing badminton when he was about seven years old. He was known to have participated in the 1994 World Junior Championship with Peder Nissen as a double.
Career
He was an incredible player who participated in a lot of games and won a lot of them. He played for Denmark in four Summer Olympics in badminton singles. He took part in the year 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012. He also took part in the Danish National Championship and emerged winner ten times between the year 2000 and 2011. In 2012, he decided that he had had a good run in the world of badminton and decided to retire.
Achievements
He is believed to be one of the best badminton champions who has made it to the top of the world rankings. Out of the games he participated in, he lost hundred and fifty games but won over five hundred games.
