About Peter Hollens
Peter Hollens was a Vocal Performance student at the University of Oregon when he co-founded On The Rocks, a group that would become the first collegiate acapella collective in the state of Oregon. Following his graduation, he became involved in full-time acapella performances, recording and production. He rose to mainstream popularity in 2010 when he led On the Rocks to participate in the television singing competition show, “The Sing Off”. Since 2011, he has been releasing acapella music to his self-titled channel.
Family Life
He has been married to fellow acapella singer, Evynne Smith with whom he has two sons. They sometimes collaborate on music videos for his YouTube channel.
Achievements
He has been a multi-recipient of Contemporary A Capella Recording Awards and the Game Audio Network Guild Awards.
