Personal Life
Being born into a family where music was a part of the household, he decided to go into music when he was very young and at four years old, he started learning to play the piano. When he was nine years old, he started going out with his father and playing during performances with his father’s band. As a teenager, he yearned for more so he decided to leave home and pursue music on his own. He partnered with Jim Condie and started the band Solaris.
Career
He saw an ad in the newspaper requesting keyboard players and signed up to join Jethro Tull in 1982 and in the same year, they worked on “The Broadsword and the Beast”. He also worked with them on “Live at Hammersmith ‘84” and “Under Wraps”. He started his own recording studio while working with Kobalt Music, he has worked with some great musicians including Box of Frogs, Geri Halliwell, Beverley Knight, Bee Gees, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Pet Shop Boys among others.
