About Plan B
English rapper Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew, best known by his stage moniker Plan B, shot into stardom with the release of his first album entitled “Who Needs Actions When You Got Words”. In 2010 he came out with another album entitled “The Defamation of Strickland Banks”; this album featured on several music charts.
Aside from his musical career, he is also famed as an actor, who is noted to have starred in movies like “Harry Brown” and “The Sweeney”.

He is the son of a musician named Paul Ballance.
Achievements
In 2006 he was nominated in the category for “Best UK Artist” at the ‘BET Hip Hop Awards’. He won the award for “British Male Solo Artist” at the 2011 ‘BRIT Awards’. In the same year he won an ‘ASCAP Award’.
Education
He was expelled from Tom Hood School. He later enrolled at the alternative provision school called Tunmarsh Pupil Referral Unit.
Trivia
He started his music career as an R&B artist before venturing into rap. He became a brand ambassador for Bulmer's cider in July of 2011.
