He is a former American football player who spent a total of twelve seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He usually played the wide receiver position.
He spent his collegiate time playing for Michigan State University, where he broke and set several records. He joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2000 after he was selected during the NFL Draft. He spent five years with the club before joining the New York Giants in March of 2005 in a $25 million six-year deal.
He later played for the New York Jets (2011) and Pittsburgh Steelers (2012-2013).
