Polly Draper began her acting career in 1980 as a stage performer. The American actress rose to stardom seven years later when she brought life into the Ellyn Warren character in the ABC drama series entitled “Thirtysomething”.
Over the years, Draper has been cast in many television series and films including “The Larry Sanders Show” and “Too Young to Marry”.
Other projects
Aside from acting, Draper is also known for her works behind the cameras. She wrote and directed the 2018 film titled “Stella's Last Weekend”. She also created Nickelodeon’s “The Naked Brothers Band”, as well as the 1999 film “The Tic Code”.
Family
Her parents are renowned capitalist William Henry Draper III and his wife Phyllis Culbertson. Her brother is the famous venture capitalist Tim Draper. Her 1983 marriage to Kevin Wade ended in 1990. In 1992, she became the wife of musician Michael Wolff with whom she has two kids named Alex Wolff and Nat Wolff.
Education
She graduated from Yale University and continued at Yale School of Drama.
