About Pornsak
Thai-Singaporean media personality Pornsak Prajakwit started out in 2004 as a radio DJ with UFM 1003, a radio station under Singapore Press Holdings Limited. Three years later, he joined Mediacorp, where his career in television presenting will begin.
He has worked on various genre of shows including, but not limited to, “Stars for a Cause”, “Food Source”, “The Joy Truck” and “Shop Stories”.
Family Life
He lost his mother at five years old. He was subsequently sent from Thailand by his father to study in Singapore. He holds citizenship of both Thailand and Singapore.
Education
In Singapore, he studied at South View Primary School, Clementi Town Secondary School, Jurong Junior College and Singapore Management University.
He earned a Traditional Chinese Medicine degree from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in 2015.
Achievements
Between 2007 and 2021, he won 12 Star Awards, nine of them in the Popularity Awards category.
Trivia
He co-owned a Thai restaurant chain called Porn’s.
