American actor Ralph Byrd’s memorable career in Hollywood lasted for close to two decades. He was a theater dancer and singer prior to launching his acting career. In 1932, he made his screen debut as Driver with Mustache in the film, “Red-Headed Woman”. He is remembered best for his portrayal of Dick Tracy, a live-action adaptation of the comic strip character of the same name, in television series and films.
