American actor Randolph Mantooth has pursued a career for over 40 years on stage, in films, television series and documentaries.
He got his start in Hollywood in the late 1960s after he was scouted by a talent agent for Universal Studios who had watched him in the stage play “Philadelphia Here I Come” in New York City. His best-known roles include John Gage in the medical drama and action-adventure series, “Emergency!”, Clay Alden in the daytime soap opera “Loving” and Kirk Harmon in “One Life to Live”.
Family Life
He is the first of the four children of Donald Mantooth and Sadie Neddenreip. He is the elder brother of actor Don Mantooth. He was first married to Rose Parra from 1978 to 1991. In 2002, he married his second wife, Kristen Connors.
Achievements
He won a Charles Jehlenger Award for his stage work. His appearances in daytime soap operas also earned him four Soap Opera Digest Award nominations.
