Randy Meisner is an American musician most known for being a founding member of the Eagles.
Career
Meisner's first well-known band was called The Dynamics. They produced a couple of records and played for four years. He next was a founder of the band Poco, but quit the band around the release of their first record. He then founded the Eagles along with Henley, Frey, and Leadon. Randy Meisner mainly played bass and did backing vocals, but was featured as a lead vocalist on some songs. He also wrote “Take it to the Limit,” which was one of their early hits.
