About Ray Bolger
Raymond Wallace Bolger, as he’s known in private life, was a very popular actor in the 1930s when he performed in a number of Broadway shows. However, he became an international icon when he played the role of Scarecrow in the 1939 production titled “The Wizard of Oz”.
He also starred in other notable movies such as “Babes in Toyland”. Between 1953 and 1955, he was the presenter of his self-named show, which was aired on the ABC network.

Honors
