About Reinhard Heydrich
Reinhard Heydrich was a high-ranking Nazi official during World War II. He also was one of the people most responsible for The Holocaust.
Career
Before the outbreak of World War II, Reinhard Heydrich was in the German Navy, reaching the rank of sub-lieutenant before being discharged for “conduct unbecoming to an officer and gentleman.” In 1931, he met Heinrich Himmler and joined the SS. Heydrich soon became chief of the organization, and under him, over fifty concentration camps were built. He also was head of the Gestapo and helped organize the Kristallnacht. He was killed in Prague before the end of the war.
