Nelson is a Zimbabwean-English soccer player, who became known through the English Premier League club, Arsenal – where he has featured mostly in the winger position.
He began chasing football from a tender age, as he joined Arsenal's training academy at the age of nine. After making successful impacts during his time in the academy, he landed his debut professional contract in December of 2016.
Aside his club appearances, he has played in England's Under-16 (2014–2015), U-17 (2015–2016), Under-18 (2016–2017), Under-19 (2017–2018), Under-20 (2018), and the Under-21 (2018), divisions.
He has also represented England at the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, 2018 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, and several others.

His father is of Zimbabwean origin, while his mother is English. His siblings are Ricky and Tessa Nelson.

He was named into the "UEFA European Under-17 Championship Team of the Tournament" in 2016.
