About Rich Hall
Rich Hall has established himself as a successful comedian, musician, writer and documentary maker. He became a household name through his performances in sketch comedy. He was first seen on television as a performer on a 1980 episode of “The David Letterman Show” for which he also wrote episodes. From 1983 to 1990, he was a star and co-writer of the satirical sketch comedy series, “Not necessarily the News”. He was also a season 10 cast member of “Saturday Night Live”. He became a household name in the UK through his appearances in comedy panel game shows such as “QI”.
Family Life
He was raised in North Carolina’s Mecklenburg County. He is of half Cherokee descent. He has two children with his English filmmaker wife, Karen. They have been married since 2004.
