Rich Homie Quan is an American rapper who released his first official mixtape in 2012. In the years that followed he has gone about establishing himself as one of the most-recognizable artists in the rap game, having dropped multiple-platinum hits such as 2015’s “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and 2013’s “My Nigga” alongside YG and Jeezy.
In 2017 he signed a deal with the legendary Motown Records.
Achievements
Out of high school he received a baseball scholarship to Fort Valley State University.
Quan was nominated for five BET Awards in just a two-year timespan, from 2014 to 2015.
His first studio album, “Rich as in Spirit”, peaked at number 32 on the Billboard 200.
Trivia
Before initiating a music career he did a little over a year in prison. It was afterwards that he decided to take music seriously.
In 2017 he was arrested again, along with some of his associates, when police stopped their car and found multiple drugs and weapons inside the vehicle.
