About Richa Chadda
Richa Chadda is an Indian actress who is widely recognized for her role as Bholi Punjaban in the Hindi comedy film Fukrey, as well as its sequel Fukrey Returns. She started out as a model before branching into theater, and finally into film.
Her first Bollywood character was Dolly, a minor role, in the 2008-released film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! Four years later, she became a household name through her portrayal of Nagma Khatoon in the two installments of the crime film Gangs of Wasseypur.
Her first role as a lead character was Devi Pathak in the Indian-French film Masaan.
Family Life
She has been in a relationship with Indian actor and model, Ali Fazal, who also starred in Fukrey. They cancelled their wedding plans in 2020 because of the global pandemic of 2019/2020.
Achievements
She won a Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Critics) in 2013 for her role in Gangs of Wasseypur. She also won a Screen Award for Best Performance for her portrayal of Bholi Punjaban in Fukrey.
