For his high school education, he attended Nevada Union High School which is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills. After high school, he enrolled at Sacramento State University.
Career Highlights
He moved to Hollywood to try his luck in acting. His acting career began in 1978 when he played a supporting role in the TV series, “Fantasy Island”. He became a more recognizable face on TV after appearing in the 1983 comedy film “Losing It”, which starred Shelley Long, Tom Cruise and John Stockwell.
In 1984, the star played Matt Buchaman in the popular Sci-Fi action thriller, “The Terminator.” The movie proved to be a huge influence on Rossovich’s movie career as it gained him many fans worldwide. He also featured in “Streets of Fire”, where he played the character of Officer Cooler.
Other notable films
He has starred alongside Reba McEntire and Kenny Rogers in “The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw”. He also co-starred with Charlie Sheen and Michael Biehn in “Navy SEALS” in 1990.
In a career that began in the late 1970s, he has appeared in many TV series, including “Pacific Blue”, “ER”, and “Sons and Daughters”.
