About Robert Frost
Robert Frost was a renowned poet who received four Pulitzer Prizes for Poetry during his lifetime. Some of his best known works include The Road Not Taken and Birches.
He was married to Elinor Miriam White and had six children with her. Tragically, only two of his children outlived him.
He won four Pulitzer Prizes for New Hampshire: A Poem With Notes and Grace Notes, Collected Poems, A Further Range and A Witness Tree.
For his outstanding works, he was awarded a United States Congressional Gold Medal in 1960 and the Edward MacDowell Medal.
He was named Poet laureate of Vermont on July 22, 1961.
