About Robin Söderling
Robin Söderling is a retired Swedish tennis player who with his dexterity and passion achieved a great deal in his line of work. Robin in his career records has made it to finals back to back at the French Open in 2009 and 2010, respectively.
At the age 26 the Swedish star had to bring an end to his illustrious career due to an ailment known as mononucleosis. The sickness sequentially affected his productivity and greatly informed his decision to end his career at a green stage.

Robin Bo Carl Söderling was born in Tibro, Sweden where he spent most of his childhood days. He started showing great interest in tennis at age five where he was many times sighted rubbing shoulders with older tennis folks in the field of play.
He made his first debut in international tennis in Luxembourg when he was 14 years old.
Career Highlights
In his first professional tournament Robin lost to Fred Hemmes, Jr. The tennis lover was however not discouraged, he lingered on. Robin rose to fame at the 2009 French Open, where he was accredited as the first player to taste victory against the renowned tennis legend Rafael Nadal at the tournament.
Achievements
Robin was awarded an Association of Tennis Professionals World Tour Masters title at the '2010 Paris Masters' where he was ranked world No.4 of the 'singles ranking'.
Aside from being rated as world number 4, Robin attained 10 titles in his tennis career.
