About Rodney Peete
A player of tremendous talent who plays American football, Rodney Peete is regarded as one of the game's all-time great quarterbacks. A football enthusiast right from his childhood, he excelled in several sports including basketball and baseball before becoming a star in American football.
He served the University of Southern California throughout his collegiate career in a number of college football competitions, where he broke and established various records in the sport. He also received numerous honors, including an entry into the USC Athletic Hall of Fame.
In 1989, the Detroit Lions selected him in the NFL draft as a result of his accomplishments in college.
