She also played the titular character in the television miniseries A Woman Named Jackie, to go along with other roles in a number of TV movies like A Secret Life (1999), The Test of Love (1999), and The Sons of Mistletoe (2001).
As a Producer
Downey also produced most of the TV movies she appeared in. Her most notable work as a producer was the 2013 biblical drama The Bible and its subsequent film adaptation in 2014, Son of God.
