About Ron Sexsmith
Ronald Eldon Sexsmith is a singer and songwriter of Canadian nationality. He started singing at bars at the age of 16. He later came to be known as The One-Man Jukebox. In 1985, Sexsmith began writing songs. His released albums, solos and collaborations include “Ron Sexsmith” in 1995, “Long Player Late Bloomer” in 2011, “For the Love of Harry: Everybody Sings Nilsson” in 1995, “Beautiful: A Tribute to Gordon Lightfoot” in 2003 and “Northern Songs: Canada's Best and Brightest” in 2008.
Family
He has married twice. First to Jocelyne Sexsmith in 1986 and got separated in 2001. Later, he married Colleen Hixenbaugh. He has two children named Christopher Sexsmith and Evelyne Sexsmith.
Awards
In 2005, he won the Juno Awards for “Songwriter of the Year”.
Trivia
Sexsmith formed his personal band at age 14.
