About Ronnie Spector
Ronnie Spector, widely known as the "Bad Girl of Rock and Roll", was a celebrated American singer who gained international stardom as a member of the girl group The Ronnettes, along with her older sister Estelle Bennett and cousin Nedra Talley. The Ronnettes were active in the 1960s, during which they released such hits as Walking in the Rain, Baby, I Love You and Be My Baby. After the Ronettes disbanded, she began a solo career.
Personal Life
In 1968, she got married to iconic record producer and songwriter Phil Spector. The couple adopted three children before their marriage officially came to an end in 1974. She got married to her second husband Jonathan Greenfield in 1982. The marriage produced two children.
Achievements
In 2007, she and the other members of the Ronettes were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
