About Roy Keane
Roy Keane is a retired Irish footballer and football manager whose successful 18-year career as a player saw him represent such teams as Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Celtic. At international level, he represented the Republic of Ireland national football team from 1991 to 2005. He began his managerial career in 2006 when he was appointed manager of Sunderland.
Personal Life
He got married to Theresa Doyle in 1997 and had five children with her.
Achievements
In 2004, legendary Brazilian footballer Pelé included him in the FIFA 100 list, which is the list of the greatest living footballers in the world. That same year, he was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame.
Throughout his career, he won several trophies for the teams he represented. With Manchester United, he won seven Premier League titles, four FA Cups and one UEFA Champions League title.
