About Russell Johnson
Russell Johnson was a well-known American actor who became one of the most captivating actors working in Hollywood. He made his film debut as Ky Walker in 1952’s "For Men Only", which is regarded as one of his best performances.
Professor Roy Hinkley in the CBS television sitcom "Gilligan's Island" and Marshal Gib Scott in the NBC sitcom "Black Saddle" are two of his other notable roles. Aside from that, he was also in "Black Tuesday," "A Distant Trumpet," "Off the Wall," and "Rock All Night."
He grew up in and around the entertainment business, which provided him with several possibilities to pursue a career in the industry.

He was born to Russell J. Johnson and Minnie K. Johnson and was raised together with two siblings namely Ken Johnson, and Marian L. Johnson. He married three times throughout his life. In 1943, he married Edith Cahoon, but the marriage ended in divorce in 1948. In 1949, he married Kay Cousins, his second wife. They had a daughter named Kim and a boy named David, but she died in 1980. Johnson married Constance Dane in 1982.
