About Ryan Getzlaf
In spite of being recognized as a center position player, Ryan Getzlaf has also earned a reputation for his abilities as a playmaker. The Canadian ice hockey player pursued a junior career in the Western Hockey League with the Calgary Hitmen prior to making his debut in the National Hockey League in 2005. He was chosen in the NHL Draft by the Anaheim Ducks, with which he has spent the whole of his NHL career. He has represented Canada in international tournaments.
Family Life
He is the younger brother of retired Canadian Football League player Chris Getzlaf. His parents are Susan and Steve Getzlaf. He has been married to Paige Getzlaf, with whom he has three children.
Achievements
He became the all-time highest scorer of the Ducks in 2021. He won the 2007 Stanley Cup with the Ducks.
Trivia
He has held golf tournaments to support the Duchenne muscular dystrophy charity, CureDuchenne.
