Background
Born Marwan Abdelhamid in Jerusalem, Levant spent much of his childhood in Gaza. He moved with his family to Jordan in 2007 and finally settled in California. He attended the University of California where he majored in International Relations.
Career & Major Works
Levant released his first single “Jerusalem Freestyle” in 2020, gaining him a huge online presence with over 7 million likes on TikTok. Following the success of his first single, he released “Nirvana in Gaza” in 2020 and also released other songs such as “Tourist”, “Desert Rose”, “Nasser”, “Mandela” and the recent single “Very Few Friends”.
