About Sam Kiszka
Michigan-born musician Sam Kiszka is best known for serving as a guitarist of the rock musical group called Greta Van Fleet.
He co-founded the above-named group in 2012 alongside Kyle Hauck and his siblings, Jake and Josh Kiszka. Hauck left the group in 2013 and was replaced by Danny Wagner.
The group’s first-ever studio album “Anthem of the Peaceful Army” was released in October 2018. The following year, the album won an award for “Best Foreign Album” at the annual Polish award named Fryderyk.
Achievements
Kiszka, together with his group, has been a recipient of multiple accolades including winning the “Best Rock Album” at the 2019 Grammy Awards in which they were nominated in four categories. Their song “Safari Song” was adjudged “Rock Song of the Year” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards that year.
In 2017 he, and his team, picked an award for “Best New Artist” at the Loudwire Music Awards.
Trivia
Kiszka studied at Frankenmuth High School in Michigan, where he played golf.
