Brown is a former American basketball player. He was picked by the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2006 NBA draft. Throughout his playing career, which spanned between 2006 and 2018, he played for several top clubs where he was mainly used as a shooting guard position. Some teams that he played for include Los Angeles Lakers (2009-2011), New York Knicks (2014), and Delaware 87ers (2018).
Due to his popularity, he has been featured in music videos of some hip hop artists like Toni Braxton, Monica and Nelly. He has also been cast in films like "Think Like a Man" (2012) and "Vanguard" (2009).

His parents are Chris and Sandra Brown. His brother is also a famous basketball player called Sterling Brown. He was married to popular singer and actress Monica Denise Arnold, popularly known as Monica, between 2010 and 2019. His children are Shannon and Laiyah Brown.
