Acting Career
The New York City-born actress began her career as a cover girl model for a number of magazines before landing a role in the 1982 drama film “If You Could See What I Hear”. Shari was offered a lead role on the ABC prime-time drama series 'Hotel' in 1983. The show, which was created by American film and television producer Aaron Spelling, aired on prime time for five years and was a huge hit. She worked on a variety of shows like Jack Bender’s comedy horror film “The Midnight Hour”, in which she played 'Melissa Cavender.'
