Personal Life
He was born to an Irish mother and an English father and grew up with a brother who also took up a profession as a rugby player. He studied at Ampleforth College and later got married to a television presenter by name Sarra Elgan Rees whose father had also been a rugby player. They have children together.
Career
Easterby played with the Scarlets and was the captain of the team for a long time. He joined them in 2003 and was with them till 2010. In that year, he injured his knee and was forced to take a break from the career he so loved. Prior to that, he joined the national team of Ireland in the year 2000 and was an instrumental player during his playing days. He played with them till 2008 when he decided he wanted to leave and concentrate on his career in playing for clubs.
He played for British and Irish Lions in 2005 when one of the players named Lawrence Dallaglio hurt himself and could not play.
