Skip Marley is a Jamaican singer and songwriter who formally initiated his music career in 2015. And as you have probably already deduced based on his nationality, profession and last name, he is part of the famous Marley family of reggae musicians.
Family Life
He is the grandson of the late, great Bob Marley and his wife, Rita Marley.
His mother, who is also a musician, is named is Cedella Marley, and his dad is named David Minto.
He also has a number of other family members, such as his uncles Ziggy, Ky-Mani and Damian Marley, who are known to the music world.
Achievements
Marley is noted for his signature songs, “Chained to the Rhythm” (2017) alongside Katy Perry. Said song has gone platinum in a couple of countries and double-platinum in the US and Italy.
A track he dropped in 2017 called “Lions” charted in the United States.
