About Son Heung-min
Son Heung-min is a professional South Korean football player. He joined the English football club Tottenham Hotspur as a winger in the year 2015. He began his senior career in football with German football club Hamburger Sport-Verein e.V., popularly referred to as Hamburger SV in the year 2010 up until 2013 when he transferred to Bayer Leverkusen. He played over 60 league matches for Bayer Leverkusen before joining Tottenham.
Son also played internationally for the youth teams of South Korea before becoming a member of the senior squad in 2010.
Family
He is the son of former football player called Son Woong-jung.
Achievements
He was named the Korean Footballer of the Year in 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2019. He was also recognized as the Best Footballer in Asia in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
In the year 2019, Son was nominated for the Ballon d'Or. Tottenham Hotspur also named him the Player of the Season for the 2018/19 season.
