He grew up in Kansas City and had shown much interest in music. His interest was in Jazz and dedicated so much time into learning to play the guitar which brought him to his main career. He started gaining acclaim in 1995 when he started performing in different places with different groups.
Career
He worked with different groups including the Liberation Music Orchestra, the Electric Guitar Quartet, Electric Bebop Band and Lead Belly Project. Through all these, he met and worked with icons like Steve Swallow, Paul Motian, John Patitucci and Joey Baron. Some of the music he has worked on include “Healing Power – The Music of Carla Bley”, “Blue Has a Range”, “West of Middle” and “Melody in a Dream”. He has also worked on “The Stars Look Very Different Today”, “Little Things Run the World”, “Objects in the Mirror”, “What I Meant to Say” and “Voices in the Wilderness”.
