About Steve Gorman
Steve Gorman is an American born musician and radio sports host. He started music as a fourth grader in the school band when he played the snare drum. He was a broadcasting major in the university.
He was a drummer for lots of different bands before creating “Lack of Interest” with his friends Jon Vanover and Brent Woods. They released a tape titled “Content to Sit and Stare”.
He met Clint Steele, a young man who wanted to be a guitarist in high school so in 1987, he joined Clint’s band “Mary My Hope” as a drummer. He later met the Robinson brothers; Rich and Chris and became friends with them. When they needed a drummer, he stepped in. The band was renamed “Black Crowes”. He left the band in 2001 but returned in 2005.
Trivia
In 2019, he co-wrote and released a book titled “Hard to Handle: The Life and Death of the Black Crowes-A memoir”. He also worked as the host of Steve Gorman Rocks. He performed in music videos like “The Black Crowes: Hard to Handle” and “The Black Crowes: Remedy” among others.
