About Steve Hackett
Steve Hackett is a British guitarist, composer, vocalist, and producer who rose to popularity in the 1970s as the main guitarist of the rock band "Genesis". Before departing to pursue a solo career, he worked on a number of albums, EPs, and singles with the band.
While still a member of the group, he released his debut solo album titled "Voyage of the Acolyte” in 1975. He founded the band "GTR" with Steve Howe in 1986 after a string of solo recordings. Hackett went back to his solo performance after the group broke up the following year.
