Family Life
He was born to parents, Eloise Vera and Jesse Harvey. He has twin daughters named, Brandi and Karli and a son called, Broderick Harvey Jr. with his first divorced wife, Marcia Harvey.
His second marriage to Mary Shackelford was annulled in November 2005 and the couple have a son called Wynton. He married his third wife, Marjorie Bridges in 2007.

He was the recipient of the “Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host” award at the Daytime Emmy Award in 2018.
