Background
Born in 1957, the musician attended the High School of Music and Art. As a teenager, he became a member of Stevie Wonder’s band WonderLove.
Career
Jordan played as a drummer with various bands such as Stuff in 1976. He also toured with the Blues Brothers in the 1970s. He played with the group Paul Shaffer and the World's Most Dangerous Band, which played on the show “Late Night with David Letterman” for four years.
He became a member of John Mayer Trio in 2005. Four years later, he was nominated for a Grammy Award. Jordan became a regular drummer of the Rolling Stones in 2021 after their drummer Charlie Watts died.
