About Steven M. Greer
Steven Macon Greer has credited his close encounter with an unidentified flying object (UFO) around age eight as the inspiration behind his decision to become an ufologist.
Having received a licence to practise medicine in 1989, he later practised as a traumatologist before retiring from medicine.
In 1990, he established the Centre for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI) to gather information about extraterrestrial civilisations through research.
Personal Life
He grew up in North Carolina, where he studied biology at the Appalachian State University. He earned his medical degree from East Tennessee State University.
Publications and Documentaries
In 2017, his book, “Unacknowledged: An Exposé of the World's Greatest Secret” was published. In the same year, it was detailed in the documentary, “Unacknowledged”. Four years earlier, he had co-produced a documentary about his work as a ufologist titled “Sirius”.
