Cook is an American singer who was a member of the American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR).
Personal Life
He divorced Jackie Cook then began a new relationship with Laura Cook.
Career
After his first band broke up in the 1970s, he became a member of the Don Harrison band together with a colleague from the other band. He played the bass and piano for the band and together they released two albums including “The Don Harrison Band” in 1976.
He joined the Pacific Band in 1986 and they released hit albums including “Zuma” and “County Line”.
He recorded with Fantasy and Warner Bros. Records.
Association
He worked with Roky Erikson and produced about fifteen songs with him, including “The Evil One” in 1981.
He also appeared on the albums of artists such as Baron Stewart and Peter Lewis.
Achievements
Cook was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.
Trivia
He partnered with Dough Clifford to establish a mobile recording studio called the Factory Productions.
