About Swipey
Swipey was a known American rapper, who was born Douglas Brooks. Growing up, he was greatly inspired by rap through his uncle who was a rapper. He was outstanding in his education, which eventually landed him a scholarship at the Morgan State University.
He, however, dumped his education at high school level in pursuit of his musical career. Following numerous shots at limelight, he eventually got involved with the group, "Squad Boyz" and went under the label, Men of Principles through which he dropped his hit songs, "Best Friend" and "Dirty".
Collaborations
His musical career saw him team up with artists such as Shy Glizzy and Lil Durk. He also performed together with big-names in the industry such as Fat Joe and Wale.
He featured musician and producer, Jazzepha on his track titled, “Money Money Money”.
Family Life
His mother is named Freda Brooks.
Death
His life was, however, cut short in August 2016 after he was shot and killed, in an attempted robbery attack, while he was attending a family party.
