Teddy Pendergrass was an American R&B singer who was born Theodore DeReese Pendergrass. He was a Grammy Award nominee whose songs were widely received across the world. He however gained massive recognition due to his association with the American vocal band named Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes. In 1976, he began his solo career and released several albums including:
