Temuera Morrison was relatively unknown when he performed the title role in the film titled “Rangi's Catch” which was released in 1973. Since then, the New Zealander has been featured in many successful films. He’s globally known for his Jango Fett role in the “Star Wars” franchise.
His part in the 2018 film “Aquaman”, where he appeared as Thomas, father of Arthur Curry, made him an international icon.
Family
He was raised by his parents Laurie Morrison and Hana Morrison Stafford. He is the brother of the late Taini Morrison, a popular entertainer in New Zealand. He and Kim Willoughby, a popular singer, have a son called James. Aiorangi, his daughter, is the product of his relationship with a lady called Peata Melbourne.
Education
He was a student of Western Heights High School. He also studied at Wesley College, Auckland.
