About Terry Brooks
Terry Brooks started writing way before entering into the university. Despite starting at an early age, the American novelist published his first book in 1977, which was entitled “The Sword of Shannara”.
Since then, he has established himself as one of the prolific writers of his era with a number of novels. He’s best known for his series like “The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara”, “The Genesis of Shannara” and “The Dark Legacy of Shannara”.

He has been married to a lady called Judine.
Education
In 1966, he completed his English literature studies at Hamilton College. He went on to study at Washington and Lee University.
Trivia
He was a legal practitioner before starting his writing career.
According to him, he enjoys writing long fiction more than short stories.
He further indicated that he was inspired by the works of American writer William Faulkner.
