It's always amazing to see puppets talk on command and controlled by a person who’s barely moving his lips. American ventriloquist Terry Wayne Fator does just that with his outstanding impressions with a stack of different voices. He also doubles as a singer and comedian.
Early Life
The Dallas, Texas-born ventriloquist is the son of Jephtha Wesley and Edith Marie Clifton. He grew up with two siblings in a family of performers and entertainers. He discovered his love for ventriloquism when he came across a manual and never let go of it.
Career
Fator started his career in 1987 as a lead singer in the "Freedom Jam" band. He later left the band and went solo with ventriloquism and comedy but struggled for many years. However, in 2005, Terry Fator included impressions in his performance and made his first national appearance in "America's Got Talent" in 2015, where he eventually won the competition.
Personal Life
As of 2022, the famous ventriloquist has been married 3 times; first to Matilda Fator in 1991, Taylor Drew in 2010, and finally to Angie Fiore in 2015.
