About Tiny Lund
Tiny Lund, born DeWayne Louis Lund, made his NASCAR debut in 1955. The American driver participated in many competitions before rising to fame in 1963 when he won the Daytona 500. He was very successful in the Grand American Series, and was considered as one of the greatest to participate in the event. By the end of 1971, Lund had recorded over 40 wins in the series. During his career, he worked with some popular teams such as Petty Enterprises, Wood Brothers Racing, and Rice Racing.

He fathered a son called Christopher.
Achievements
The renowned driver was voted into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1994. Four years later, he was included in NASCAR's “50 Greatest Drivers” list. He became a member of the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame in 2016.

Lund was involved in a car accident during one of his races in 1975, which caused his demise.
