About Tom Chaplin
He is a multi-talented star of English origins who is a musician, songwriter, composer and singer. He is also popular as a part of the band ‘Keane’.
Personal Life
He was named Thomas Oliver Chaplin when he was born. His parents’ names are David Chaplin and Sally Chaplin. The musician was enrolled at Vinehall School where his father worked as a headmaster. He continued his education at Tonbridge School then from there, he studied at University of Edinburgh but he did not complete his course because he chose to leave and focus on music instead.
In 2011, he married Natalie Dive and has children with her.
Career
As part of the band Keane, he worked on “Hopes and Fears” in 2004 then two years later, he released “Under the Iron Sea” before “Perfect Symmetry”. In 2010, they released “Nigh Train” before “Strangleland” then they worked on “Cause and Effect” in 2019.
Alongside his works with the group, he has released his own albums including “The Wave” in 2016 then “Twelve Tales of Christmas” and “Midpoint” in 2022.
